Link Day/Orientation Day-Thursday, August 28, 2025

I. E. Weldon is excited to welcome our incoming Grade 9 students for the 2025/2026 school year! This is a fun day for students ~ Spend the morning with some senior students to see the school, get timetables, ask questions, and get a locker!
Wear your new Weldon T-shirt and bring your own lock. BBQ included.

Busses will depart from TLDSB Feeder schools ~ Dunsford District Elementary, Rolling Hills and Scott Young at 8:30am. Students getting on at Jack Callaghan bussing will depart at 8:45am. Link Day starts at 9am and runs until noon. Busses to the four feeder schools will depart I. E. Weldon at noon to head back for parent/guardian pickup at the four listed schools.

Parents/guardians are responsible for pickup and dropoff of students who are new to TLDSB.

Summer break information

All school buildings will be closed to the public for the summer break beginning Monday, July 7, reopening on Tuesday, August 26.

Beginning the week of July 14, the TLDSB Lindsay Education Centres is open to the public Monday to Thursday, 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Muskoka Education Centre is closed to the public over the break.

The first day of school for both elementary and secondary students is Wednesday, September 3. Note, Kindergarten students will have a staggered start.
