Kawartha Youth Orchestra

The Kawartha Youth Orchestra offers extensive musical opportunities that help promote passion and love for music, allow students to make meaningful connections with others in their communities, and allow students to participate in fun programming that serves their well being. It is most well known for its three tiered orchestra program to help students grow as musicians wherever they are in their musical journey (Junior/Intermediate/Senior KYO), but it also offers other ensembles (jazz ensemble, chamber music, and folk music) that serve student interests. In the KYO, students will be able explore music ranging from new/standard orchestral works to film/video game music.
Please see the 2024-2025 program offerings brochure below for more information on specific programming.
