The Lindsay Cadet Corp was founded in 1898 at LCVI, and was know as Number 44, Lindsay Collegiate Institute Cadet Corps. In the early 70s the Corp moved the the Lindsay Armoury.
The Cadet program runs from September to June and is free of charge to youth age 12-19. The program runs on Tuesday nights from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. at the Lindsay Armoury. The first night is Tuesday, Sept 8.
Furthermore they will be holding an open house on Sept 29, where people can come out and see more about what they do.
It should also be noted that many of our activities are considered Community Service, which allows Cadets to earn the require Community Service hours.
