Trillium Lakelands District School Board buildings are lowering flags from September 25-28 to half-mast in memory of police and peace officers who have made the ultimate sacrifice to keep our communities safe. Established in 1998, Police and Peace Officers’ National Memorial Day is held on the last Sunday of September each year: https://thememorial.ca/memorial/index/introduction
