Hello Grade 8 Families. This message is from Ray Este, principal of I.E. Weldon Secondary School. On the banner of this website, you will see the links to Mme. Duke’s grade 8 pathways information video, a school tour video, and a video with some advice from some current students. Please watch these videos with your children before January 26th. Your elementary school should have shared an email from me that had a link to a meeting scheduled for January 26th starting at 6 pm. Click on the meeting link to ‘join’. Your child should be able to show you how to login as they will already be familiar with joining meets. Your child’s chromebook will have a microphone and camera. Keep your microphone off unless you want to ask a question. I will speak briefly to start the meeting at 6 pm. You will then have an opportunity to direct any questions to our department heads or administration by clicking on the link to the appropriate department in the lower part of the invitation. The department head or administrator will be waiting to answer any of your questions. Looking forward to seeing you virtually on January 26th at 6 pm.
