The following is the average score by subject area for Weldon’s 2007 examinations and the average score for students around the world in May 2007.  Each subject is marked on a 7 point scale with 7 being the highest.  A 5 represents a mark in the 80’s. Scores for subjects with five or more candidates are included.

Diplomas

In May 2007,   28 065 students earned the IB diploma worldwide.  Seventeen of these students were from I E Weldon.  While there is no direct equivalent for a total IB score, most Weldon students who scored between 30 and 34 had Ontario averages based on their best six subjects between 91% and 93%.
